Dr. Kyaw, also known as ‘Dr. K’ by most of his patients, is an American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology certified Psychiatrist with an additional training for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He graduated from Institute of Medicine (1), Rangoon, Burma in 1988. He completed both his general psychiatry & Child, Adolescent Psychiatry training from Los Angeles County-USC medical training.

Dr. Kyaw has been in private practice in Upland area since 2002, providing psychiatric care to children, adolescents, adults and seniors. He is also working as Mental Health Psychiatrist for Los Angeles County and treating mentally ill Juvenile Offenders in Central Juvenile Hall since 2002.

Dr. Kyaw also teaches Medical students and Psychiatric Residents from Keck School of medicine, University of Southern California as Clinical Assistant Professor in psychiatry since 2005.

Dr. Kyaw also involve in Southern California Psychiatric Society as elected board member since 2004. He also served as an active member in Psychotropic Medication Committee & Continue Medical Education Committee of Department of Mental Health, county of Los Angeles since 2002.
